Institutional Accounts
Institutional accounts are an imperative aspect of using Claudius. They enable legal scholars to pay through their university directly instead of having to pay themselves and be reimbersed afterwards.
Creating an Institutional Account
Set up a Claudius Scholar Institutional Account to efficiently handle your faculty's submission costs.
About Institutional Accounts
These accounts streamline the submission process for faculty by allowing their universities to cover their submission fees directly. This method eliminates the need for retroactive reimbursements.

Create Guide
Step one:
Ensure that you sign up as a Legal Scholar
Without a Legal Scholar account you will not be able to access institutional accounts
Step two:
In your Dashboard page look to the tabs on the left side of the screen
You will see a tab for institutional accounts, click this button or click here
Step three:
On the institutional account page, look to the left section titled "Create an Institutional Account"
Read the information first, then in the textbox input the name of your institution and click the "create" button
Remember to name your account after your institution, making it easily identifiable for your faculty members. For example, “University of Wisconsin Law School”.
Step four:
After clicking create you will be sent to a page to enter the payment information for you institution
Filll this out and click the "Save Payment" button
Step five:
You should now see a screen that looks like this!
Joining an institutional account
If you are eligible to use your university's institutional account, please search, select, and apply to your institution below. Once your request is approved, you'll be able to choose the institutional account as your payment method during the article submission checkout process.

Step three:
On the institutional account page, look to the right section titled "Join an Institutional Account"
Read the information first, then in the textbox input the name of your institution's Claudius Institutional Account
Step four:
Within the dropdown click your Claudius Institutional Account.
Below a box will appear that lets you apply to be a part of that institution. Click the "apply" button.
Step five:
You have joined your institutional account!
You should now see a screen that looks like this.
